Personal / ADHD Support / Decision Support

Stuck on a choice. Get on a call. Pick.

Three vendors open in three tabs for two weeks. The school decision. The new laptop. The “should I switch services” you keep tabling. Decision support is a session where we map the options together so you can make the call and move on.

Some choices aren’t hard, they’re just open. The data’s there. The options are reasonable.

You just can’t pull the trigger alone, and the longer it sits, the heavier it gets. Decision support is the structured 45-minute conversation where we lay it out, you decide, and the tab closes.

It’s not advice. We don’t tell you what to pick. We help you see the options clearly, you make the call.

Executive dysfunction makes daily living needlessly difficult for so many of us.

What we handle

How a session runs.

  • You name the decision. We ask the questions that surface what actually matters to you (cost, time, reversibility, fit)
  • We score the options against your criteria together. No frameworks for the sake of frameworks, just enough structure to see clearly
  • If research is missing, we note it and your assistant pulls it before the next session (or in the same one if it’s small)
  • You make the call on the line. We close the loop: cancel the other tabs, send the deposit, schedule the install, mark it done
  • Common decisions: vendors and contractors, big purchases, school or program choices, whether to switch services, whether to keep or drop a commitment

Questions

Common questions.

Are you giving me advice?

No. We don’t tell you what to pick. We help you see the options clearly so you can pick. The decision stays yours, end to end. We’re the person on the line keeping you on the rails while you think.

How long is a session?

Usually 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how big the decision is. Small ones (which laptop) finish in 30. Bigger ones (which school, which contractor) need closer to 60. You can split a complex decision into two sessions if you want to sleep on it.

What kinds of decisions does this work for?

Reversible-ish ones with two to five real options and not enough emotional weight to need a therapist. Vendors, big purchases, “should I switch X,” whether to keep or drop a commitment, school or program choices for kids, scheduling around something complicated. Not for “should I leave my marriage” or “should I take this job offer at a values level.” Those need different help.

Can my assistant do the research first?

Yes. Tell your account manager what’s on the table. Your assistant pulls comparables, references, reviews, or quotes ahead of the session, so we walk in with the data and just need to talk through it.

An OkayRelax account manager.

Your account manager

A dedicated account manager. The person you actually call.

Every account has its own account manager, separate from your dedicated assistant. They run the kickoff, own the match, and are the person you reach if something needs to be rematched, escalated, or just sanity-checked. Every assignment has a quality bar. You aren't the one chasing it.

Same person, every month. No round-robin queue. No swapping out the contact after onboarding. The match you meet on day one is the match running the work on day two hundred.

From people who hired one of us

They came back for the next year.

"It is really nice having a dedicated assistant and my assistant has exceeded my expectations. They've saved me a lot of time dealing with a variety of tasks: canceling and scheduling appointments, booking work trips, researching."

Roy · OkayRelax client · August 2018

"She checks in about details and keeps me on task, which is quite a tall order. My ADHD makes it impossible to keep up on all my adulting without it."
