Why aren’t Family Stories and ADHD Support on Comfort?
Both depend on the same person showing up every week. Family Stories means recurring calls with your parents or grandparents, which only works if your assistant builds a real relationship with them. ADHD Support is about not re-explaining your brain to a new face every Tuesday. Comfort uses our shared task pool, which is great for one-off coordination but not the right fit for either of these. They live on Relaxed because Relaxed gives you a dedicated assistant.
Can I use Personal for my small business?
No, and we’d rather tell you up front than match you wrong. Personal-tier assistants aren’t matched for business work, so they aren’t the right fit for sales, customer support, CRM, or ops. If 40 hours is too many or your work is genuinely small-scale, book a 15-minute call and we’ll scope a custom-fit small-business plan. We do this for solo founders and very small teams all the time.
How do I know what to delegate?
You don’t need a list ready on day one. Your assistant starts with whatever’s loudest right now: the inbox you can’t face, the appointment you keep rescheduling, the trip you haven’t booked. Within two weeks they’ll know your patterns and start surfacing things to hand off without you asking.
Can my assistant make calls on my behalf?
Yes. Doctor’s offices, contractors, customer service, salons, schools, the cable company. They use a script when it helps and improvise when it doesn’t, and they tell you exactly what was said in the recap.
Is this HIPAA or sensitive-info safe?
Standard confidentiality applies to every assignment, written into your assistant’s agreement. We can use a shared password manager so you never paste credentials into chat, and access is scoped, logged, and revocable. We aren’t a HIPAA-covered entity, so we don’t process protected health records on a covered-entity basis. For everything that doesn’t need that specific compliance shield, your work is safe with us.
What about gift research and special occasions?
This is one of our most-loved use cases. Birthdays, anniversaries, the niece’s graduation, last-minute teacher gifts, the reservation you forgot to make. Tell us once who matters and we’ll keep the calendar, source three options, and order with your sign-off.
Can I switch to Business later?
Yes. If your needs grow into real ops work like sales follow-up, customer support, or CRM updates, your account manager will move you onto a Business plan. You’ll likely get matched with a different assistant who’s been screened for that work, and we’ll bridge the handoff so nothing drops.
What if my assistant isn’t a fit?
Tell your account manager. We rematch. No drama, no awkward conversations on your side. The whole point of having an account manager is so you don’t have to manage the relationship.
