Different programs. The same care at the wall.

A library, a mill, a hillside house, a converted bank — they share less than the photo grid would suggest. What carries across is the way the details land: a cornice that lines up with the window head, a column on the same grid as the floor joint, a threshold that doesn’t trip you.

Residential / 2024 Hill Section House 2,400 sf, four-bedroom hillside home with a daylit lower studio. Adaptive reuse of a 1940s structure. Closed 1.7% over GMP and two weeks ahead of schedule. Civic / 2023 Quarry Library 8,400 sf branch library. Cast-in-place concrete shell, mass-timber roof, daylit reading hall over the children’s stacks. 230 visits a day at month six, double projection. Commercial / 2022 North Mill Studios 1923 grist mill converted into 14 working studios for craftspeople. Shared kiln, finishing room, gallery storefront. Eighty percent leased on opening day. Residential / 2021 Lakeside Cabin Off-grid 980 sf cabin. Solar, rainwater, composting. Cedar lapstrake siding milled from trees cleared during build prep. Owner uses 130 days a year, rents the rest. Civic / 2022 Highline Community Center 6,200 sf community center, adaptive reuse of a 1958 fire station. Public engagement ran four sessions. Construction finished a month ahead of the bond schedule. Commercial / 2024 Riverside Dental 3,400 sf adaptive reuse of a former bank branch into a four-chair dental office. Sound isolation and the vault wall were the two hardest parts of the project.
