Why 48 hours
The cart-abandonment recovery curve is steep — 80 percent of recoveries happen inside the first 24 hours. Past 72 hours, response rates drop to noise. We compress the sequence into 48 hours to capture the steep part of the curve and stop before the customer is annoyed.
