Tuition & aid
The tuition is the tuition.
We don’t run “introductory rates” or “limited-time scholarships” that are really just discounts everybody gets. Honesty about cost is part of the program. Every applicant sees the same sticker, the same kit list, the same FAFSA workflow, and the same payment-plan options.
By the numbers
Tuition + kit, broken out.
- Cosmetology$18,400 tuition + $1,800 books/kit = $20,200 total
- Esthetics$9,200 tuition + $1,100 books/kit = $10,300 total
- Barbering$14,600 tuition + $1,500 books/kit = $16,100 total
- State license fee$25 — we cover it on on-time completion
- What the kit coversShears, clippers, capes, brushes, color bowls, treatment supplies for the first 90 days
Federal financial aid
Title IV, FAFSA, Pell.
We’re Title IV eligible. Most students qualify for some combination of Pell grants, subsidized loans, and unsubsidized loans. The average aid package covers 60 to 90 percent of program cost depending on income. Our financial aid officer walks every applicant through the FAFSA before enrollment and stays involved through graduation — not a one-time orientation handout, but a real person whose desk you can find.
~70% of cosmetology students.
Need-based, no repayment. The aid officer walks you through eligibility before you commit to a cohort.
No interest while enrolled.
Federal direct loans cover what Pell doesn’t, with interest deferred until six months after program completion.
For the remaining gap.
Standard federal terms. Available to any applicant who needs them, regardless of Pell qualification.
Payment plans
No interest, no late-fee theater.
For the portion not covered by aid, we offer no-interest payment plans across the program length. No late fees on the first missed payment in any 12-month window. No “deferred enrollment fee” that surfaces in month three. The plan we sign at intake is the plan that runs to graduation.
The kit, the books, the license fee, the cohort tuition. Four line items. That’s the whole bill. If a fifth ever shows up, we made a mistake and we’ll fix it — we won’t ask you to.
